Test My Typing offers you the ability to download our free typing test for use on your computer or web site provided it is for personal use; organizations will need to contact me first. It’s easy to get started, simply follow this typing test link, download and extract it to a directory of your choosing using the password ‘www.testmytyping.com’ and you’re all set.

If you’re doing this simply to test you own keyboarding speed and will be using it on your personal computer, then click on the extracted typing-test.html file.

If you are going to be using the typing test on your website, you’ll need to add the typing test code below to your webpage. You’ll also need to add mytypingtest.jar file to the same directory that contains the webpage that will offer the typing test.

Although this typing test is limited to one minute, we found that most visitors do not choose greater test durations when given the choice.
