Test Results Are Estimates
A score here measures one thing: how you typed during that run, in that browser, on that device. Keyboards, screens, lag, and nerves all move the number. A score is not a certification, and we do not guarantee that a result here will match a result on any other test, including an employer's own screening.
What a Verify Code Proves, and What It Does Not
Verify codes and our built-in checks (paste blocking, cadence review, the high-speed retype gate) are designed to deter casual faking. They are not forensic proof. A code confirms that its numbers came out of a completed test on this site; it does not confirm who was at the keyboard. If you make hiring, admission, or grading decisions using scores from this site, that judgment and its consequences are yours. We are not part of the decision and accept no responsibility for it.
Guides Are Information, Not Advice
Pages like the typing speed guide and the typing jobs guide are general information. They are not career, legal, or financial advice. Companies mentioned on those pages are examples, not endorsements, and hiring details change; confirm anything important with the employer directly.

We work to keep the site accurate, available, and fast, and we promise none of those things. The site and everything on it are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Features may change or be retired at any time.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the site. Our total liability for all claims combined is limited to the amount you paid us to use the site, which is zero. If the law where you live does not allow part of this section, that part applies to the fullest extent it allows, and the rest stands.
Using the Site Fairly
Use the site for taking tests, practicing, teaching, and screening. Do not attack it, probe it, overload it, scrape it at scale, or wrap it in another product and present it as your own. The text passages, lessons, and page copy are original content owned by TestMyTyping.com. Printing result cards and sharing your own results is what they are for; republishing site content elsewhere is not.
Governing Law and Arbitration
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Please read this paragraph carefully. It affects your legal rights. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the site or these terms will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The seat of arbitration is Muskegon County, Michigan; hearings may be held by phone or video where the rules allow. You and TestMyTyping.com each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action. Either side may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court.
If this arbitration agreement is found unenforceable, any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state courts located in Muskegon County, Michigan, or the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
